How print time cost is calculated
Energy is hours × watts ÷ 1000 kWh, multiplied by your electricity rate. Machine amortization spreads the printer's purchase price over its expected lifetime hours: price ÷ lifetime × print hours. Together they are the non-material cost of the print — addfilament cost for the full picture, or jump straight to pricing your prints if you sell them.
